Who would have thought that one could paper piece an Ocean Waves quilt? Well, why not? As you can see above I have divided an Ocean Waves block into 4 separate units which can then be easily paper/foundation pieced. What we have here are a picture of one fourth of a block; an entire quilt; and the foundation piecing pattern for one fourth of the block. It is in the turning of each block 90 degrees which makes this a simple method indeed!

To make the quilt shown here, make 16 copies of the pattern. Four Mac patterns will make an 8" block for Mac users or a 6" block for PC users. Four PC blocks will make a 12" block for Mac users or a 9" block for PC users.

• Paper Piecing Pattern (6" for Mac; 4-1/2" for PC) -- this is for 1/4 of a block
