Rainbow Strips & Curves is a 2 for 1 class. Students bring enough fabric for the two small quilts (child sized). In the morning we work on the quilt with the curved patches (the picture on the left). This is all raw edge applique using fusible interfacing (NOT fusible web). Very quick and fun to make this picture frame corner units in the corners of plain squares. In the afternoon we take our leftovers (don't you just love leftovers?!) and strip, slice and resew them into the second quilt (picture on the right). A lot of WOW! for the time and money.
The quilt on the left uses machine applique. This can be done with straight stitches (featherweights are welcome), zigzag, or button hole. Please be familiar with your OWN machine.
