Facets of Color - 4 or 6 Hour Class

Facets of Color is a dynamic, exciting quilt composed of four VERY LARGE blocks. These 18" blocks teach several things:

• Paper piecing the four "Crossed Canoe" corner units (easy! easy!)
• Quick cutting and sewing the crisscross/hour-glass blocks using only squares!
• Two methods for sewing Square in a Square blocks (with no templates)

My students have made this quilt using quiet colors, batiks, and any color family they desired. This is great for those large floral prints you have no idea what to do with. Take care that there is good contrast between your fabrics.
